2:30 pm UT School of Music (LINK) - Young Pianist Series Piano Recital No. 3: Elliot Wuu
Praised for his “power, speed and finesse of artists twice his age” (Tribune Star), 18 year-old Elliot Wuu is a rising star in becoming an exceptional young artist. First Prize winner in the 2015 Hilton Head International Piano Competition for Young Artist and a Young Scholar alumnus of the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, Wuu has captured audiences with colorful tones, sensitive musicality and emotional depth in his music. Wuu is recently named a 2018 Gilmore Young Artist, one of the most prestigious award bestowed every two years to two young pianists up to 22 years old.
