6:00pm Alive After Five with The BlairXperience LINK
Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Larry Blair’s vocal prowess ranges from velvety and sultry, to raw and soulful, and his stage presence is off the charts. He started his musical career as one of the lead vocalists in a group he and his brothers formed, called “The Blair Brothers”, becoming well known in many local circuits. He later formed a solo project which evolved into the current BlairXperience which has a range of music that is endless, from Pop, Gospel, R&B, Blues, and Soul. All tickets are sold at the door beginning at 4:45 pm.

3:00 pm Free Family Concert by Oak Ridge Symphony & Chorus LINK
Introduce your family to classical music. Come one, come all to hear the Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra & Chorus performing fun favorites! Youth Aliyah Concerto Winners will wow you performing music by 19th century French composer Édouard Lalo and 19th century German prodigy Felix Mendelssohn. After the concert, stop by the musical instrument “petting zoo” and enjoy post-concert snacks.

7:00 pm Knoxville Symphony Concerts in the Community: Holiday Concert in Dandrige (LINK)
Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Resident Conductor James Fellenbaum will lead the KSCO in holiday favorites including Gesu Bambino, Tchaikovsky’s Christmas Waltz from The Seasons, March of the Toys, Stille Nacht and selections from both The Nutcracker and The Messiah. The KSCO will be joined by a combined choir made up of members from local Dandridge churches.

7:00 pm Maryville College Division of Fine Arts Presents: “A Celtic Christmas”
Maryville College ensembles will join forces to present a Christmas concert titled “A Celtic Christmas.” Ensembles include the Maryville College Concert Choir, the Orchestra at Maryville College, the Maryville College Community Chorus, the Maryville College Jazz Ensemble, Off Kilter and the MC3 Band.

8:00 pm Dor L'Dor concert (Facebook Event LINK)
Knoxville klezmer band Dor L'Dor returns to the Laurel Theater for this year's Hanukkah concert. Formed in 1999 by Ken and Susan Brown, the band currently includes about a dozen musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds, including classical training and jazz performance. Klezmer originated in Eastern Europe and borrows from various musical traditions of that region as well as from religious liturgy, musical theater, and American jazz.
